Stainless "Nakiri"
This "Nakiri" kitchen knife has a 8" long razor sharp blade made from AEB-L stainless steel and is about .080" thick at the spine . The heel of the blade is 1.875" tall. The blade has a gentle convex / flat grind to .010 edge before final edge bevel. A Nakiri knife is a specialized Japanese vegetable knife designed for efficiently chopping, slicing, mincing, and dicing fruits and vegetables. Not to be used on frozen food or foods with bones. The bolster is copper infused carbon fiber and the highly sculpted handle is a black, deep purple and rich blue stabilized maple burl. The handle has a nice feel and good balance. This would be a great addition to any home cooks kitchen. Looking to make more of these in the future as they are fun and challenging. OAL is about 13". Comes with a brown leather blade cover.
